Delete your account and data

Assetsitz (by Grandfield Media Private Limited) keeps only what you type in — your assets, people, locations, photos and history. You can take it all with you and have it deleted at any time. There is no retention trick and nothing to phone about.

Take your data first

Every list exports as CSV from inside the app — assets, and the full movement history — so you keep the register after the account is gone. Do this before asking for deletion; we cannot recover anything afterwards.

   Email us

   Write to assetsitz@grandfieldmedia.com from the address you sign in with, asking for your account to be deleted. Sending from that address is how we know it is you.

   We confirm

   We reply to the same address to confirm before anything is removed, so a mistaken or forged request cannot destroy your register.

   It is gone

   Your workspace and everything in it is deleted within 7 days of that confirmation. You also get a last CSV of your assets attached to the confirmation if you ask for one.

What is deleted

Everything you entered: assets with their tags, serial numbers, purchase and warranty details, photos, notes and tags; the people and locations you added; the whole movement history — check-outs, check-ins, moves, services and audits; your payment methods' descriptions; your sign-in account, workspace and settings; and any support tickets you raised.

What is kept, and why

Invoices for payments you made are kept as long as Indian tax law requires, because we are legally obliged to hold them. They contain your name, the amount and the date — nothing from your register. Encrypted backups roll off on their own within 30 days, so a deleted workspace disappears from those too without anyone touching them.

Deleting from the app instead

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove things. Any asset can be archived or deleted outright from its own page, and a deleted asset takes its history with it. Cancelling a paid plan from Billing keeps your data and drops you to Free.
