Privacy policy

What you enter

Assetsitz holds what you type in: the names, tags, serial numbers, categories, purchase details, warranty and service dates, locations, people, photos, tags and notes of the assets you track, and the history of who had what and when. Your account email and name. Your workspace name, currency and settings.

Why

To run your register, send the reminders you asked for, invoice you, answer support, and keep the service secure. Never for advertising, never sold, never shared with anyone who does not need it to do one of those jobs.

Photos

Photos are shrunk in your browser before upload and stored with the asset so the people in your workspace can see what it looks like. Take photos of things, not of people.

Emails

Reminders and digests go to your account email or the notification address you set. Each send is logged (which asset, which date, which offset) so nothing is sent twice. Sign-in codes and receipts go to the account email.

Retention

Assets, history, people, locations, photos and settings: kept while your workspace exists, and deleted with it. Account, plan and invoice records: kept while your account exists, and invoices as long as tax law requires.

Who else sees it

Razorpay (plan payments), the database and web hosting providers for the data above, and the email provider for reminders, sign-in codes and receipts. Nothing you track is ever sent to a vendor or manufacturer.

Your rights

See, correct, export or delete your data any time: every list has a CSV export, and you can write to assetsitz@grandfieldmedia.com. Deleting your account removes your workspace and everything in it.

One sign-in cookie. No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics.
