Terms of service

The service

Assetsitz (assetsitz.com) is a web application by Grandfield Media Private Limited (“we”) that keeps a register of the things a business owns — who has each one, where it is, and when its warranty or service is due — with labels, scanning and reminders. It records; it does not value, insure or audit for you.

Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your email. Keep that inbox secure; what happens under your sign-in is yours.

Your data

What you enter stays yours and can be exported as CSV at any time. Assetsitz never connects to your bank, your vendors or your devices, and never moves money on your behalf.

Assets and plans

Every plan has a limit on the number of live assets tracked; retired and archived assets do not count. Free includes 50. Starter, Professional and Business are billed monthly or annually through Razorpay and renew until cancelled from Billing.

Reminders and accuracy

Dates and reminders are calculated from what you enter; book values are a straight-line guide, not an accounting figure. Reminders are sent on a best-effort basis by email and can be delayed or lost by mail providers; they are a help, not a guarantee.

Acceptable use

No unlawful content, no attempt to overload or reverse the service, no use that harms other people. We may suspend accounts that break this.

Availability

We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it. Printed labels keep working whatever happens to us — the tag is on the sticker.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous three months.
